Merry Xmas!

Here's wishing all TLTEians a very very Merry Xmas, and a wonderful festive week to welcome the festive season.
Hope Santa fulfils all your wishes, and one gets all the happiness in the world...
A toast to the TLTE family as well....May it goes closer and stronger..
Amen!!
*****************************************
I'm taking Kanu's word for this one...TLTE meets are always fun!
I met Gopala last week.
And Saras and Tinni[;)] yesterday. And as always, it was lovely fun...It was Xmas eve, and Mumbai looks like a bride, with all the lights and decorations.
Although Saras made me wait for 45 minutes (us se bada late lateef koi nahi hai) and later made a lot of fun of me, by shouting that I had a "funny face" so that everyone who looked at me started to lauch[:o]!!! So of course he kept looking at me and kept laughing, and even proposed a business idea (that all comedy movies should have my pic stuck on the screen at one side constantly, even if the movies was horrible, people would die laughing =)) ).
And of course the rest of the time, saras just kept missing Vini[:P], while Tinni had to leave early[:)].
****
UPDATE: I forgot to add...we did a very crazy thing, that could verey well be the next TLTE-am trend. For dinner, we were sitting in this restaurant, trying to debate what to order, as all of us were fine with abslutely-anything, and none of us could decide. So finally I(who else) got a brilliant idea...We shortlisted three items of choice, and wrote them on chits made of tissue paper. Then we called the waiter and let him pick up one of the chits. No wonder the waiter was grinning all through after that:D
So next time, when u cant decide waht to order, try this one[:P]!!!
***
But in short, we had a blast, and we all exchanged a lot of TLTE secrets!![:P][:P]
I'm looking forward to meet Ment, Kanu and SM in Jan. Don't you ditch me either of you!!![:D]
Take care all...and have a blast this festive season.
TLTE Rocks! Touchwood[:)]

TLTE

I joined TLTE pretty late than it started and always opened the thread to find some unknown ppl playing some or the other game,
so refrained myself from posting there.
But, in a way I knew many ppl beforehand most of us were regular in posting at India Comm. and some in "Above U" thread.
I found Ted involved in almost every discussion happening there and was really amazed to see the points he come up with for debate.
But somehow, he later also involved in TLTE and I myself also jumped in sometime later. I used to browse it throught the day.
I was mostly accompanied by Ted, Shobhs, Kosha-Dosha, Kiddo, Adi, Pommu, Yogi, Saras, Vins, Tinni (can't recollect all though) came later. I became quite regular there and we were a gang always racing towards milestones.
Hehehe.. looking back at it, it seems all foolish but we were very much involved in this foolish mad race for milestones!! There were too many ppl coming in and then disappearing.
But, we gang never gave up. Somehow, ppl started giving attention to their scrap numbers more than TLTE and slowly slowly, we all used to communicate thru SBs. TLTE was no more interested and I found too many new ppl there to discuss the things with. So, mails/Scraps/Chat reduced our posts !! Milestones in each others SBs becmae more important. Mad ppl we were.. really !!
Phone numbers were exchanged and everybody came closer than expected. It seems like we all were an old college group scattered around the globe.
Offcourse, there were fights/conflicts amongst different members, but never paid attention towards it.
But theres definitely more in life than just pulling legs, people had their crushes, crushed for that too [:P]. Anyways, thats the part of any friends groups, hai na ??
I got a chance to meet so many TLTEians and conversed with most of members thru phone and all... the TLTE family as I call it, really always felt good in pulling each others legs !!
I met Vins, Saras, Gopala, Adi, Pommu,Prankul, Yogesh, Kosha. (want to meet u all remaining )
Talked with Tinni, Deeps, Raja, Shobhs, Ted, Kiddo, Kanu, Richa. (want to add more names here... soon)
Thts the way it is...
Life moves on.. and relations become strong !! Hope we all TLTEians will be with each otehr thru all the thick and thin !!

!! TLTE Rocks !!

ARBIT POST

OK guys

This is some random post so the moderator reserves the right to delete it anytime it is desired... Actually I didnt know what to write that may be more relevant at this space coz I havent interacted much with the veterans here ... so i will bring up something that i enjoy very much.. The movie "Sholay"

"What the F**K??".. if that is what in your mind after reading the first para then plaease click on the X at the top right hand corner of the window and accept my apologies for wasting your time...else read on.

********************************

Friday evening it was pizza coke and Sholay... Sholay?? Why Sholay?

Because it is one of the movies I am never tired of watching (included in the list are Jaane bhi do yaaron, Chashmebadoor, Amar Akbar Anthony, Chalte Chalte, Golmaal, Masoom, Baat Ban Jaye, Rang Birangi, Baaton Baaton mein, Andaz Apna Apna )....and what better way of doing it than on big screen....Now you don’t get to see many English movies in Aalborg, forget about Bollywood movies so we got a projector and constructed this whole setup…and it was really worth the effort

You know that Sholay did not open to a very good response way back when it was released and caught on later ...But for me the movie is a super duper uber hit...

And my fav guy in the movie ..."Gabbar Singh"... unarguably 'THE' most famous character of Indian cinema... Even Raju Shrivastav and Sunil Pal have recited his dialogues at the GILC...

"Kitne aadmi they?"
"Katili Nachaniya"
"Jo dar gaya, samjho mar gaya"
"Yeh haath mujhey de de Thakur"
"Bahut yaarana lagta hain"

And many such more dialogues which have crept into our daily parlance... which have become part of everyday milieu...I dont think any other movie has had that kind of penetration

Apart from the fabulous dialogues, the plot of the movie is racy, fast paced, action packed and one in which you can't escape for a leak and come back thinking that u havent missed anything significant.... one stays glued to the seat from starting to the end...

The music is excellent, both background and songs and RD Burman's 'Mehbooba o mehbooba' is simply AWESOME... each of the songs gel so properly with the movie.. its not forced upon you

Thank you Ramesh Sippy, RD, Salim Javed, AB, Dharampaaji, Amjadbhai and everyone else...
