A meet

Hi all,
Guess what? There was a TLTE meet recently in Bombay, recently as in yesteray, 19th of June, 1700hours..which included me(Kiddo), Gopala and Saras..in short three old timers of TLTE, veterans, and like most others, largely absconding these days!!
Ok, first the important announcement..SARAS IS NOT A GHOST OR A COMPUTER PROGRAM!!!! hE'S VERY REAL, VERY ALIVE AND VERY SWEET (Vini may take extra note :P):D:D:D
About the rest, here's my own version of yesterday's meet..Dont be surprised if you don't find me in Gopal's and Saras's friendlists anymore. They might just delete me if they read this!!!:P

DATE, TIME AND VENUE...
I had left the decision to the localites, asking to be informed where I had to reach and when...I was told Mocha, Hill Road, Bandra, at 1700 hours. I had taken a friend" along, working with me, with due permission of everyone so that I had company travelling!
Now I'm a very sweet, sincere, and punctual girl(I know, I know, that you already know!! :P) and therefore, being in an unknown city, left well in time, and reached by 4:45 PM, which was early. Two long walks and a visit to a church nearby later, I called these ppl up, and found more wait in my destiny. Finally, Gopal came at 1721 hours by my watch, and we went inside, waiting for Saras and a table. Some 15-20 minutes later, it happened, we finally saw Saras...Gosh, this meet was really happening!

A BUSINESS MEET???
Well, that's how it appeared for a lot of time!! :DI mean we were all sitting facing each other on one LAAAAARRGGGEE table, and every now and then it was only "silence and stares", and each time I had to dot the painstaking job of speaking up some crap.Thankfully, Gopal help me keep up a conversation, but Saras seemed to be lost in somebody's dreams (or the Hot Chicks at Mocha) or probably just missing Vini too much. So we had to drag him into conversation! My friend is anyway a very quiet guy, and so for soem time it was a duplication of last Thursday when I met gopal. The only thing, now missing, was an agenda!

THE PITA OF THE THREAD, AND THE MEET
Yes, that's Gopala for you, so aptly named by me(who else!) once upon a time as the pita of the thread...So as the kiddo kept talking crap, and bugging people (kids' right!!) the pita was the Incharge of the show, urging people to move, to place their orders, and to decide where to go etc. When we went for dinner later, he ordered and then cut and served and requested us to eat the pizzas with so much maternal love<:P>. that my friend was all floored!!:D and I couldn't control my laughter..Infact every now and then, me and saras would look at each other and burst out laughing!Poor Gopala!

THE LAWYER AND THE LIAR
Well, if u have a lawyer(liar!) and three useless IITians, the most talkative of whom loves debating, then u ought to have arguments, or as my frnd say, agenda for the day!<:D>As we walked and sat beside the sea, we discussed everything from politics, newspapers, IIT, NLS, men, girls, psychology, leopards, media, rumours, monkeyman, girlfriends(oh yes, that was "the" topic), love, and of course, orkut and TLTE!!!Saras was the one wearing all his cards close, till we coaxed him to speak one by one.And then of course, my poor friend bore the brunt of three seasoned TLTE-ians who'd decided to pull his leg.

MORALS OF THE STORY:

*sARAS doesnt speak too much till u mention Vini(u shd have seen his face when Vini called up later in the night
*I can bug everyone...muhahahahahahaha
:D saras was scared of me soon, very soon...
*We should have had a cam, none of us did, that was the bad part!
*you should always leave decision making to lawyers. They look funny when worried!
*Never say "Gopalkrishna Shenoy is so troublesome". He gets after your life!
*TLTE ppl should meet more often..Gosh!It was fun.

Long Lost !

I don't know how long has it been since I've been in touch with you guys. I had unjoined the India community after the TLTE was hijacked by noobs competing with the Paki counterpart. TLTE was the only reason why I had hung on to that pathetic troll community. Nevertheless, the memories are still fresh. I just visited this blog after a long hiatus and I must say Kanu's last post was a trip down the memory lane. She has crisply elucidated the whole TLTE experience in a single post!
I'd appreciate if we could keep ourselves updated with the latest stuff that is going on with each other's lives. Stay connected !
